Botswana Tours
Our overland mammal expedition takes us into the heart of the Okavango Delta, made up of a checkerboard of islands and waterways brimming with wildlife. Thriving on these islands are a host of African mega herbivores including Giraffe and African Elephant and the big predators that feed on them - Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Spotted Hyena and endangered Wild Dog. Journeying onwards to the Savuti area wildlife is best viewed as it congregates around a series of isolated waterholes, the life blood to this arid savannah. Our final destination is the Chobe River where an incredible 30,000 elephant thrive and we can be assured of incredible encounters with these magnificent giants.
